About MsIAM

At Graduate School of Business, Assumption University, MsIAM is the only graduate program that covers key elements of investment analysis for corporate, institutions and individuals. By blending theory with practice, classes of MsIAM are engaging, inspiring and providing new perspectives on local and international trends.



  • Curriculum is benchmarked with Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). 

  • Introduce new courses to strengthen “Financial Modelling” skills 

  • Embed “Start-up Financing” and “Seminar in Fintech and Financial Innovation” to keep abreast of the industry transformation. 

  • Include one study trip to financial markets in Asia. 


Admission Requirements: 

  • Satisfactory Academic Records

  • Pass the assessment criteria from Examination and Interview

  • English Proficiency – IELTS of 6.5 / TOEFL of 575/ Pass AU English Test 


  1. A completed application form and statement of purpose 

  2. Official transcript record from previous university (2 copies) 

  3. Bachelor’s degree certificate (2 copies) 

  4. Citizen identification card - For Thai Applicant (2 copies) 

  5. Residence registration or Passport - For Non-Thai Applicant (2 copies) 

  6. Six (1x1-inch size) photographs (formal attire, not in graduation gown) 

  7. Reference Letters from instructors or employers (2 letters)

Note : All documents must be signed and submitted in person, otherwise the application will not be considered and the applicant will not be allowed to sit for the admission interview. 


  • First Trimester September - December

  • Complete the minimum prescribed 45 credits 

  • Obtain a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 

  • Non-Thesis Option: Pass the written and oral comprehensive examination 

  • Thesis Option: Pass thesis defense. 

  • Have library and financial clearance with the University 

  • Have good behavior and discipline
